Directions to St. Millie's

FROM PORTLAND, OR:
 
Take Interstate 84 east to Hood River.  Take the last Hood River exit (Exit
64), turning left at the tee to go under the freeway.  Cross the Hood River
bridge (.75 toll) to the Washington side of the Columbia River. Turn left
(west) onto SR 14.
 
Drive 1.8 miles west, crossing the White Salmon River. Turn right
immediately (north) onto Cook-Underwood Road. You will be traveling up
the west side of the White Salmon River.

Drive 5.7 miles until you see Highland Orchard Loop Road on the left, then
the County Road District Shop (chain link fence) on your right.  
 
Continue straight  on Cook-Underwood Rd. approximately 1 mile until you see
a GREEN MAIL BOX on the RIGHT, opposite which a unnamed road turns
steeply downhill to the left.  Take this left downhill 1/4 mile to a tee with
CHENOWITH Rd.
 
Drive to the very end of Chenowith Rd (it turns to gravel) which is the entry
to St Milly’s Grove.
 
Please park on gravel at the green shop building.

Directions to Highland Farm

FROM PORTLAND, OR:

Take Interstate 84 east to Hood River.  Take the last Hood River exit (Exit 64), turning left at the tee to go under the freeway.  Cross the Hood River bridge (.75 toll) to the Washington side of the Columbia River. Turn left (west) onto SR 14.

Drive 1.8 miles west, crossing the White Salmon River. Turn right immediately (north) onto Cook-Underwood Road. You will be traveling up the west side of the White Salmon River.

Drive 5.7 miles until you see Highland Orchard Loop Road on the left, then the County Road District Shop (chain link fence) on your right,  then the western entry to Highland Orchard Road also on the left.  Take this left turn, now heading due south directly toward Mt Hood (clouds permitting). Highland Farmhouse and farm yard are visible on the right.  Turn right  at the mailbox.

Directons to Cold Spring Farm

TO COLD SPRING FARM:

To come directly to Cold Spring, rather than turn on Highland Orchard Loop, continue past  on Cook-Underwood Rd., approximately 1.5 miles.  Just before mile marker 7, turn left onto Chenowith Rd.

Travel 1.6 miles until you see very large chestnut trees on the right, and a driveway with low stone walls.

Park at the red roof (World Steward office and guest house) and welcome to
Cold Spring!
